Generic Levaquin comes from the family of drugs called fluorochinolone group. It is recommended for treating bacterial infections that may result in pneumonia, bronchitis, and nephritis. It is a quinolone antibiotic that fights against the most common causative agents.

Generic Levaquin is prescribed for the treatment of gonorrhea, bronchitis, pneumonia, Chlamydia, skin infections, urinary tract infections, and other bacterial infections. It is supposed to be taken for the entire length of time that it has been prescribed, as otherwise the risk of infection relapse in a much worse and aggressive way, increases.
